A note from our president, Jason Crowley:

Innovative Networks, like many businesses, was born in a spare bedroom. That happened in October of 2003. We've been through many changes and have seen significant growth over the last dozen years. Change is a part of growth, and we're changing again. The name "Innovative Networks" doesn't quite tell our story anymore. Our business has grown to do much more than just network support. That's why we're changing our name to INDIGEX.

KANSAS CITY, March 21, 2016 -- Innovative Networks, Inc., a Kansas City leader in IT managed services announced today that it is changing its name to INDIGEX. The name change reflects the company's move from network-focused business solutions to a broader commitment to using technology to solve business problems and streamline operations for businesses of all sizes.

Data loss can spell disaster for any organization, particularly if the data ends up in the wrong hands. As such, no company can be too vigilant when it comes to protecting their digital assets. Contrary to popular belief, it is actually smaller businesses that present the favorite targets to hackers. Small companies represent something of a sweet spot between consumers with their lesser financial resources and large enterprises that typically invest in highly expensive state-of-the-art security systems. Nonetheless, even the smallest businesses that handle sensitive data should have the following security policies in place.
